This is a food blog*. Specifically it's a blog about what's on tonight's menu at my house for my family. I'm not going to bore you with how many grains of salt go into my cooking, rather I hope to keep your interest by telling you why I have decided to cook a certain dish on a certain day.
It could be that I have fallen on a bargain in a supermarket, harvested a bumper crop from the allotment, needed to use leftovers but what ever the reason the meal at the end of the day should be above all tasty.
If I inspire you enough for you to want a full recipe, please feel free to ask but be warned I'm making most of this up as I go along and I season to taste so measurements will be hard to come by.
